What Is Car Sort: Color Puzzle?
Car Sort: Color Puzzle is a relaxing colour-matching puzzle game. Parking lots are packed with colourful cars, and one tap sends the cars at the front of a lot around the track. Every car looks for a lot whose front car has the same colour (or an empty lot) and parks there. Fill a lot with a single colour and it is cleared. Clear every lot to win the level.
How to Play
- 🔴 Tap to send: tap a parking lot and the cars at its front drive onto the road.
- 🟡 Ride the road: cars that find no matching lot keep driving around the track. The counter shows how many cars the road can hold.
- 🟢 Match & clear: a lot filled with one colour is completed, which can also open locked lots, garages and barriers.
- 🔵 Don’t jam the road: if the road fills up and no car can park, the level is lost. Think one tap ahead.
It is easy to learn and hard to put down: short levels, satisfying moves and new twists every few dozen levels, from hidden cars and padlocks to limousines, gift cars and flip cars.

Each guide numbers the parking lots from top to bottom and left to right and lists the taps in order. Some taps empty a lot that more than one colour could take. Those steps are marked Timing and tell you which colour must reach the lot first, so you know exactly when to tap.

Car Sort Mechanics by Level
New cars and lots appear as you progress. Here is where each one is introduced, with a link to the first level that uses it.
- Hidden cars (Level 7): grey “?” cars that show their colour when they reach the front row.
- Colour-locked lots (Level 20): open when a lot of that colour is completed.
- Locked lots (Level 41): open after a set number of completed lots.
- Coloured lots (Level 61): accept only cars of their own colour.
- Tunnels (Level 91): release one row of cars per tap.
- Padlock & key (Level 131): send the key car onto the road to open the padlock of the same colour.
- Frozen cars (Level 161): thaw by one every time a lot is completed.
- Star lots & starred cars (Level 201): starred cars park only in the big star lot.
- Screwed cars (Level 251): never move, so their lot must be completed around them.
- Garages (Level 301): covered lots that open after a set number of completed lots.
- Limousines (Level 351): take two spaces in a lot and two places on the road.
- Gift cars (Level 401): unwrap into new colours once their lot is full.
- Linked cars (Level 451): leave their lot together, even with different colours.
- Road barriers (Level 501): lots behind a barrier open after a set number of completed lots.
- Glass cars (Level 551): disappear as soon as their lot is full.
- Open tunnels (Level 601): release the whole front group and never take cars back.
- Hammers & stones (Level 651): a hammer car breaks the stone of its colour when it hits the road.
- Colour stations (Level 701): open when the linked coloured lot is completed.
- Flip cars (Level 751): swap colours on every tap until one car of the pair leaves.
- Mystery cars (Level 801): show their colour only when they move.
Strategy
General Car Sort Tips
- Before you tap, check where the cars will go: a group that no lot can take just circles the road and uses up space.
- An empty lot takes the first colour that reaches it. Empty a lot only when the right cars are close.
- Clear the lots that unlock others first: garages, barriers, padlocks and colour stations all open from completed lots or key cars.
- Watch the road counter. Leave room for the cars that the next tap will release.
- Wait until the cars stop moving between taps, so every car has parked before the next move.

How many levels does Car Sort: Color Puzzle have?
The game has 850 unique levels. After that it replays earlier layouts with new colours. We cover every one of the 850 levels with an interactive solution page.
Why doesn't my board match the guide?
Make sure you are on the same level number, then restart the level: the layout resets to the exact starting board shown in the guide. The developer sometimes updates level layouts; if a mismatch persists, check the pages just before or after your level number.
What happens when the road is full?
If the road fills up and no car can park, the level is lost. Our solutions never overfill the road as long as you wait for the cars to stop between taps.
What do the "Timing" steps mean?
When a tap empties a lot that several colours could take, the first cars to reach it park there. Timing steps tell you which colour should get there first, so tap when those cars are about to pass the lot.
